Double-Sided Foam Tape

Double-sided foam tape is a foam-based double-sided tape created by applying glue to two sides of foam, which is then wrapped in silicone paper to prevent it from sticking to itself. It is mostly used in hot melt adhesives.

The simplicity of the design is what usually makes acrylic foam tapes so easy to work with, but in fact, each component – core, adhesive, coating – is carefully selected and designed to perform in a variety of conditions.

Foam Core: Foam is the core of functionality; it helps distribute the load. Available in different thicknesses and weights, it provides a bond between different and uneven surfaces. Remember: the holding strength of the glue is determined by the area of the tapping surface.

Adhesive: Acrylic glue provides strength and durability, so it meets more demanding holding requirements.

Liner: Removable coatings are specially designed for easy removal of acrylic foam tapes. The red coating is there to maintain the integrity of the “tack” while protecting the adhesive layer from environmental factors during transport, storage and use.
